Would your business be forced to close its doors if the electricity suddenly went off? Most of us can cope for a few minutes without power, but what if the black-out continued for some time thanks to an earthquake, tsunami or weather bomb? What effect would this have on your business?
If the answer is: nothing short of calamitous, you need Quality Power.

For larger installations we offer a design-build solution working alongside our client.
Most large projects can be divided into the following components:
Our supplier, Onis Visa, provide packaged units with varying engine alternator options. Oversized alternators are a common request, for absorbing harmonics or to aid motor starting capability. Low emission electronic engines are often required, especially in areas with strict pollution regulations such as Christchurch and Alexandra.
Bulk fuel solutions vary between projects. We offer a double-skinned bulk tank where the generator takes suction directly from the bulk fuel thus avoiding the need for transfer pumps and day tanks. Some situations require 4-hour fire-rated tanks and Quality Power has access to several quality suppliers of these.
Our technician has had many years experience in fuel installation and the power generation industry.
Acoustic container supplier, Bradgate Containers Ltd, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of acoustic enclosures. There are a number of units in the South Island which may be viewed in-situ. These are not modified shipping containers, but purpose built for this application and Lloyd’s certified.
We can supply larger units to 65dBa at one meter and are presently quoting 55dBa @ 1 meter @ full load for a 250 kVa unit.
Quality Power specialises in containerising high output diesel generators for large volume electricity users.
The name, Quality Power, was not chosen at random. It neatly sums up the products we offer – the best available anywhere in the world. This makes Quality Power generators, engines, alternators and complementary products excellent value for money, and the quietest and safest on the market.
We operate in some of the most remote parts of the South Island. Wherever a power source is required we have a quality power solution.
In recent times Quality Power has installed a number of large output, specific format, sound attenuated, containerised generator sets, providing large-scale electricity users with not only mains-fail, but also synchronised peak demand cover.
We are a lean and mean low overhead company that has unparalleled skills and buying power. With this you can have confidence that our power generators and systems will be “ best value “ and stand the test of time.
